Photovoltaic Modules

Photovoltaic (PV) modules transform the energy of the sun into usable electricity with a minimal impact on the environment. Unfortunately, PV modules can also ignite, support fire growth and propagate.

PV modules that are certified by FM Approvals undergo a rigorous evaluation focusing on fire. The FM Approved PV modules come in two basic designs: rigid and flexible. An FM Approved PV module will limit the spread of fire.
