CRA RED Webinar recap

On October 30, 2025, FM Approvals’ Nejra Lalić (Business Development Engineer, Cybersecurity and IIoT Certification Services) led “CRA & RED Explained: Compliance, Timelines & Impact”, an informative webinar hosted by the International Society of Automation Global Cybersecurity Awareness (ISAGCA).

During the webinar, Nejra provided attendees with insights and guidance related to the European Union’s Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and Radio Equipment Directive (RED). She highlighted an increase in general awareness of these topics in various markets, discussed ideas that could enhance awareness, and discussed how manufacturers are adapting their processes to meet requirements. Nejra also brought up some common challenges and closed with an overview of viable solutions to help stakeholders excel in this environment – including the role and benefits of third-party testing and certification for cybersecurity and IIoT devices.
