Ducts, Pipe and Duct Insulation

Air handling ducts extend from one area to another in a facility. This allows a path for a fire to follow if the ducts and the duct insulation allow the fire to propagate. Pipe chases provide the fire with the same opportunity.

FM Approved ducts and pipe and duct insulation provide the end user with the confidence that the fire will not significantly propagate. Containing the fire to the room of origin has been shown to significantly limit the amount of losses in a fire event.
