Valves

Fire protection valves come in a variety of sizes, shapes, end conditions and functions. They are used to isolate various parts of the water supply system when necessary. Like any component in the fire protection system, they are a vital piece of equipment.

FM Approved fire protection valves have been vigorously evaluated for reliability throughout the valve’s service life. Valves are evaluated for a multitude of characteristics including functionality, friction loss and working pressure. All FM Approved fire protection valves have a minimum rated working pressure of 175 psi (1205 kPa).
